Forty Muhlenberg College student-athletes were recognized for their performance in the classroom and on the field with their selection to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the winter 2017-18 season.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater gymnastics team claimed the fifth national championship in program history Friday with a school record score of 193.700 at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Team Championship at Springfield College in Springfield, Mass.

Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish the requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The following students have been awarded degrees since the spring 2017 announcement. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honors distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80. Students listed multiple times have been awarded more than one degree. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.

Cedar Crest College believes that being civically engaged in one's community is a critical step in one's life journey. Each year during New Student Orientation, students are provided an opportunity to begin their civic journey by volunteering during our annual Day of Service. This opportunity allows students to serve others while demonstrating learning, connection, and caring involvement in the surrounding community. The Class of 2021 teamed up with faculty and staff members, Interim President Elizabeth Meade, and the Friends of the Allentown Parks for the college's Day of Service on Saturday, August 26, 2017. The group cleaned up the grounds between Fountain Park and Valania Park in Allentown. Later in the day the group walked to Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ at 620 Hamilton Street, where Cedar Crest College held its first classes on September 5, 1867, for a photo.

A total of 1,555 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Fall 2017 semester of the 2017-2018 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

Over 3,500 students made the Dean's List for the fall semester

Lebanon Valley College wishes to congratulte nearly more than 700 students named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

More than 1,725 students have been named to the Fall 2017 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

A total of 419 students will receive degrees from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania at the Winter Commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 16 at 9:45 a.m. in Koehler Fieldhouse. There will be 325 bachelor's degrees, 66 master's degrees and one doctoral degree awarded.

The Cedar Crest College Education Club is open to all students regardless of their major. This club organizes fundraisers and participates in community service events held in local schools. East Stroudsburg Universityas Ice Hockey team, a club sport, is currently first in the American East division and first in the Delaware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference (DVCHC) with an 8-1-2 record. Coming off of a losing season last year, ESU has rallied with a new wave of rookie players and an all-around team chemistry.

Admissions Ambassadors are an extension of the college's Traditional Undergraduate Admissions Office. Ambassadors educate, engage, and communicate with prospective students and their families about the many opportunities Cedar Crest has to offer through campus tours and admissions events. A total of 385 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student-athletes representing all 20 of the institution's varsity sport programs were named to the 2016-17 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Honor Roll, which was announced Monday, July 31.
